I need a new camera

My camera has been really sucky lately and I need to get a new one. . .

I want a Canon because I love the picture quality and miss my old one, but I also want to be able to take longer video. I really like the TX1 - because its cute and I love fun toys and its small and it supposedly takes fine still phots and video.

Does anyone out there know about this camera or have one? Or do you have another camera to recommend?

Thanks.

I have an Olympus but it's not a video camera. But it will take video.

My camera has a 1 gig card and will take 200 pics or 20 min worth of video.

If you want to take longer videos or more picks then just get a larger memory card.

Better quality pics - check the setting, make sure its set to the highest quality setting. Also get a camera with really high megapixels.

That should get you started.

I would recommend getting one that has a hard drive instead of tapes. They are all the rage these days.

Don't want to spend more than $400.

This one is all on a memory card (and compatible with the one I have now, so dont' have to spend any more money) - and right at my price point.

7.1 megapixels. 10x digital zoom.
1280*720 video capability.
image stabilization and face finder.

stylin. little. cold, hard steel.

one touch photo sharing - which means I can document my life on this blog now. like you really want to know . . .

Someone save me from purchasing this now!

But srsly, I bought a Cannon Elura 100 miniDV camera a year and a have ago and I've been very happy with the purchase.

It sells for about $322 now, but you might look for the "new model" of this camera.

If you want, I'll bring it to the next blogger gathering so you can check it out.

I'm taking in all the happenings in Kansas City and saving you all the trouble . . . I'll let you know whether to soak it up or squeeze it out!!
